Macbook Pro Sale

I recently bought a brand new Macbook Pro from Apple. About the only thing I can complain about is that I didn't think to check out whats-hot-weekly.com first. I opted to get the 17" Macbook Pro. These are the "mac daddies" of laptops.

The 17" Macbook Pro has a screen resolution of 1920 by 1200 pixels. That's a higher resolution than my 22" widescreen monitor used with my PC. Of course you can lower this resolution if you need but I love having the extra screen real estate.

Other than the resolution, which you'll be very hard pressed to find on any other laptop, there are many other features that set the 17" Macbook pro apart from is competitors. As far as hardware goes, you probably can't even find a comparable laptop. It is equipped standard with 4 gigabytes of RAM. That's enough to run all your programs at once unless you are an extreme power user. I can run a virtual machine of Windows along with pretty much any other apps I want with no problem.

The 17" Macbook Pro also comes with a 500 gigabyte hard drive standard. Half of a terabyte is a lot of storage for a laptop. It's plenty for me and I'm a power user. I require lots of storage for various disk images and such.

To wrap up the major hardware features of the 17" Macbook Pro, it comes with two video cards, both of which are better than my PC's graphics adapter. They also both have plenty of power to make the desktop and gaming experience beautiful.

There are also a few small additions to the hardware that are just hard to find on other laptops. The touch pad on the Macbook Pro is superb. It's quite honestly the best touch pad there is. It has multi-touch, of course, which is Mac-only at the moment. It's very precise unlike many touch pads from other companies like Acer, Dell, and HP. It's huge. I mean it's almost 3 times the size of most touch pads I've used. I'm pretty much spoiled after using it.

Another small feature you just don't get from other manufactures regularly is bluetooth. The built-in bluetooth capabilities on Mac is great. It can be used with bluetooth mice, keyboards, and headsets as well as connected to phones themselves.

Finally, the iSight camera and built-in mic are much better than most I've seen before. The keyboard is backlit. The sound is great for a laptop.

If you are thinking about a new laptop, a new or used Macbook Pro is the only way to go. It's a much more enjoyable laptop experience and feels much more personal. Check out these deals at whats-hot-weekly.com. I wish I had checked there first. There are some great prices there.

Computers & Networking

The computers and networking category has a few good deals at the moment. Apparently, Dell laptop batteries are prone to die or maybe people just want a spare. The batteries rank at the top for most watched items in the computers & networking category. A close second place is Dell's little netbook with Ubuntu installed. One of the items that really caught my is the 16 megapixel web cam for $14. It looks like over 2000 people have purchased one. Go to whats-hot-weekly.com and look at the most watched items in the computers & networking categore!
